What to have ready

Material or blank
Select identification stock for the unpowered cable and intended location. Compare cable/tie dimensions to the measured hole or slot; this is decorative labeling.
File-import application
Use a vector-capable application that supports your chosen SVG import workflow. Confirm millimeter size and separate operations before output; a preview does not assign device operations.
Operations to prepare
Cut closed outlines and holes. For wrap flags, score or mark the separate fold guide; never send it as an unintended full cut.
Assembly supplies
Choose a separate tie for hanging/loop tags, or your own joining method for wrap flags. The loop slot is not a self-locking closure; avoid relying on it for strain relief.

Use the pieces together

The full SVG is an arranged sheet. Individual files let you work on one design without importing the rest. Keep every piece of a layered design selected while changing its size, so borders, holes and inset details keep their proportions.

Groups and layers

  • tag outlines
  • fold guides
  1. SVG dimensions are in millimeters. The full-pack dimensions describe the arranged sheet; each individual file has its own dimensions.
  2. Import one individual SVG or ungroup the full sheet. Preserve the aspect ratio and check a known dimension before cutting.
  3. Filled closed paths represent cut contours. Negative spaces use the even-odd fill rule. Fold guides are open dashed paths: assign score or remove them before cutting.
  4. Hanging tag: Hole: diameter 5 mm; center 15 mm from left and 8 mm from top of tag base.
  5. Double-hole tag: Hole: diameter 5 mm; center 7 mm from left and 14 mm from top of tag base.
  6. Double-hole tag: Hole: diameter 5 mm; center 57 mm from left and 14 mm from top of tag base.
  7. Loop tag: Slot overall size 18 × 4 mm, from x=6 to 24 mm and y=10 to 14 mm. No self-locking closure is implied.
  8. Blank legend tag: Hole: diameter 5 mm; center 8 mm from left and 19 mm from top of tag base.

Before you start

  • Use these shapes as identification labels, not as cable restraints or insulation.
  • Resizing changes the holes and slots too. Compare the resulting opening with the tie or unpowered cable before attaching it.

If an SVG opens at an unexpected size, compare its declared size with your canvas units before scaling. For named software, check the edition and platform’s SVG input path.
