From pieces to finished shape

Layer the round pumpkin. 119 × 62 mm file canvas; modeled assembled envelope 70 × 62 mm. Optional oval: 21 × 43.4 mm; separate stem: 7 × 15 mm.

    Keep all three parts

    The individual SVG canvas is 119 × 62 mm because the pieces are laid out separately. Keep the 70 × 62 mm base, 21 × 43.4 mm oval and 7 × 15 mm stem at the same scale. Cut them as separate closed shapes.

  2. Actual oval and stem over the source silhouette, with an annotation showing the shared center line and exact suggested origins.

    Dry-align before attaching

    Lay the silhouette down first. Place the oval at (24.5,14.26) mm relative to the silhouette’s file origin so it is centered on x=35 mm. Place the separate stem at (33.95,0) mm. These are suggested digital alignment coordinates, not registration marks included in the cut file.

  3. Actual three source paths stacked in base, oval, stem order inside a conservative 70 by 62 millimeter envelope.

    Attach in layer order

    After checking alignment, attach the oval to the base and then the separate stem on top. The silhouette already contains its own angled stem; the separate straight stem is an optional overlay and leaves a little of the base stem visible. The displayed model stays inside the 70 × 62 mm source envelope.

What to have ready for this project
Material or blank
Choose compatible flat materials for the base, center panel and optional stem, or use just a silhouette for a simpler project.
File-import application
Use a vector-capable application that supports your chosen SVG import workflow. Confirm millimeter size and separate operations before output; a preview does not assign device operations.
Operations to prepare
Cut the closed parts separately at one shared scale. If using a one-piece stack, union the intended overlapping silhouettes in your own workflow.
Assembly supplies
Provide an attachment method suited to the selected layers. Dry-align first because thickness and adhesive can shift the visible edge alignment.

The full SVG is an arranged sheet. Individual files let you work on one design without importing the rest. Keep every piece of a layered design selected while changing its size, so borders, holes and inset details keep their proportions.

  1. SVG dimensions are in millimeters. The full-pack dimensions describe the arranged sheet; each individual file has its own dimensions.
  2. Import one individual SVG or ungroup the full sheet. Preserve the aspect ratio and check a known dimension before cutting.
  3. Filled closed paths represent cut contours. Negative spaces use the even-odd fill rule. Fold guides are open dashed paths: assign score or remove them before cutting.

Before you start

  • The stacked composition contains overlapping silhouettes. Keep them separate for layers, or unite them in your software for one outline.
