Cricut SVG wrong size: fix a tiny or huge import

Compare the SVG’s declared dimensions with the size in your cutting software before resizing any pieces.

Check what is in the file

Use the checker to read width, height and viewBox. A viewBox number is not automatically a millimetre measurement.

Check whether you imported the full arranged pack instead of an individual design.

Make a safe correction

  1. Keep the original file.
  2. Use the size tool to write the intended physical canvas width and height.
  3. Import the new copy and compare dimensions again; keep related pieces at the same scale.
