SVG text vanished after import

Check whether the SVG still contains live text that depends on a font.

Check what is in the file

The checker reports text elements. An outlined letter is a path instead.

A missing font is one possible cause; clipping and unsupported effects can also hide artwork.

Make a safe correction

  1. Open the editable original with its font available.
  2. Save a separate copy and convert the text to paths.
  3. Inspect the exported letters and their enclosed holes before reimporting.
