SVG upload never finishes: check file complexity

Inspect the SVG locally to distinguish a complex file from an application or connection problem.

Check what is in the file

The checker reports path elements and parsing errors.

Design Space rejects SVGs over 5,000 paths. A long spinner by itself does not prove that limit is the cause.

Make a safe correction

  1. Try a small known SVG to check the application’s upload path.
  2. If only this file fails, inspect its path count and unsupported content.
  3. Simplify the source artwork or export a smaller part, then recheck before uploading again.
