A mat’s outside or named size is not always its usable cutting area.

Use the finished card size to draw a folded blank, then allow clearance when choosing an envelope.

Compare GSM directly. Treat a pound label as incomplete unless you also know the paper category.

Kerf is material removed along a cut. A minimum workable feature also depends on the material and process, so there is no universal safe value here.

Match the file limit to the software, platform and format you are using.

Measure the top diameter, bottom diameter and vertical height of the wrap area. An ounce capacity alone cannot define the template.

Start with the exact machine and material. A file format alone cannot choose a blade, mat, pressure or pass count.
