Compare GSM directly. Treat a pound label as incomplete unless you also know the paper category.

Why pound labels are not a universal conversion

Paper categories can use different basis-sheet sizes. Do not convert a text-paper pound value as though it were cover stock. Weight also does not establish thickness or a machine setting.
