EveryCutFileChoose what to export
An SVG export is not the same thing as an Illustrator working document. Keep the editable original before preparing a delivery copy.
Prepare the cut-file copy
Convert text to outlines if the destination cannot use its fonts. Check whether effects are still vector geometry. A bitmap inside an SVG remains a bitmap.
Confirm the imported size
Compare the result against the intended physical dimensions. Do not infer the size from the preview image.
