Use CanvasWorkspace as the conversion step between an SVG design and the FCM cutting data for your ScanNCut.

Keep SVG and FCM separate

The SVG is editable vector artwork. FCM is Brother cutting data. Changing a filename extension does not convert one into the other.

Prepare the conversion

  1. Import the SVG into CanvasWorkspace.
  2. Compare the imported dimensions and inspect every shape.
  3. Use the FCM export or transfer route documented for your model, then review the machine preview.
